About Soundberry
Soundberry is a music school based in Gorey, Co. Wexford, founded by jazz musicians and educators Gustavo de Morais and Kasia Eliasz. Between us, we bring over two decades of experience teaching, performing and creating music with children and families across Ireland.We believe something simple: every child is born musical. Our job isn't to put music into children - it's to awaken what's already there and help it grow. That belief shapes everything we do, from one-to-one lessons in your home to whole-class programmes in primary schools and our baby music classes in County Wexford.
Gustavo de Morais - Founder
Gustavo is a Brazilian guitarist, composer and music educator based in Ireland.He holds a First Class Honours degree in Jazz Performance from DCU, where he was also awarded the Ray Comiskey Memorial Scholarship in Jazz. His musical background combines Brazilian music, jazz and contemporary styles, and his work as a performer has taken him to festivals, venues and projects across Ireland and Europe.Alongside performing, Gustavo has spent many years teaching children and adults across guitar, ukulele, piano, improvisation and musicianship. His teaching goes beyond the instrument itself, bringing in songs, rhythm, singing, listening, ensemble playing and creativity.He has also worked on inclusive and early-years music projects, including work with The Ark and Purple Door, and continues to perform professionally as a jazz and Brazilian guitarist.His approach is simple: make real music from the beginning.
Kasia eliasz - manager
Kasia is an award-winning musician, performance director and creative producer whose work brings together music, theatre, movement, storytelling and inclusive arts.She is the Artistic Director of Ta Tum Tum!, an interactive project introducing children to Brazilian culture through live music, movement, rhythm and storytelling.
Kasia also leads Purple Door, an inclusive performing arts programme working with children and young people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities, creating ambitious music, movement and performance projects across Ireland.Her wider work includes directing and curating arts projects, performances and festivals, including Kildare Jazz Festival, as well as collaborations with organisations such as The Ark, Down Syndrome Ireland, Creative Ireland and the Arts Council.
Her work is centred on creativity, inclusion, confidence and meaningful participation.

Music Lessons at HomeOne-to-one lessons, tailor-made for every student — in the comfort of your own home.We visit students across Gorey, Riverchapel, Courtown and the surrounding areas, so there's no traffic, no waiting rooms, and no dragging tired kids (or tired parents) across town. Just a weekly visit from a professional musician who loves teaching.Every lesson is shaped around the person in front of us. Some students want to play their favourite songs. Some want to write their own. Some want graded exams — we prepare students for Rockschool, LCM and Trinity Rock & Pop. All of it counts. We bring the instruments, the plan and the energy - your staff don't need any musical background.In-School ProgrammesWhole-class music delivered weekly during school hours. Pupils sing, play percussion and ukulele, move, listen and create — building confidence and real musical skills across the term, aligned with the Primary Curriculum. Programmes are shaped to your school: a single class, a full year group, or the whole school on a rotating basis. Each term can finish with a short performance for parents — always a highlight.After-School ServicesGuitar and ukulele clubs on your premises, directly after the school day. Parents love the convenience, pupils get small-group tuition at a lower cost than private lessons, and the school offers a valued service at no cost to itself. Baby Music
Weekly term-based music classes for babies and their grown-ups — starting soon in Gorey.Soundberry Baby Music is a gentle introduction to music for babies from birth to 18 months, accompanied by a parent, grandparent or guardian. Classes are built around singing, rhythm and simple percussion, with live guitar throughout — songs from Ireland, Brazil and further afield.Early musical experience is well linked with speech and language development, listening, coordination and — not least — the bond between baby and parent. But the honest reason families come back each week is simpler: it's a lovely hour, and babies thrive on it.Classes are kept small and unhurried. Babies join in however suits them on the day — some bounce, some watch, some sleep through the whole thing. Terms & Conditions
1. Payment & place confirmation
Fees are paid in advance for the full term or agreed lesson block. Your place is confirmed once payment is received.2. Term dates
Lessons run on the dates provided by Soundberry. There are no lessons on scheduled school holidays or clearly listed no-class dates.3. The first-class settling periodIf, after that first class, you feel the programme is genuinely not the right fit for your child, please contact Soundberry promptly and the remaining term fee will be refunded. After the first class, term fees are non-refundable.4. If your child misses a group classThere is no refund, credit or make-up class for a group lesson missed by a student. The place has been reserved for the full term.5. If an individual lesson is missedWith more than 24 hours’ notice, a make-up lesson is not guaranteed, but an online lesson may be offered where possible and subject to teacher availability. With less than 24 hours’ notice, the lesson is forfeited.6. If Soundberry misses a lessonYou will not lose the lesson. We will provide a suitable substitute teacher, reschedule it, credit it, or refund it as appropriate.7. Substitute teachersWhere necessary, a suitably qualified and appropriately approved/vetted member of the Soundberry teaching team may teach the class or lesson.8. InstrumentsStudents are encouraged to own their own instrument so they can practise between lessons. A ukulele or guitar may sometimes be available to borrow during class if arranged in advance and subject to availability. If you are unsure what to buy, please ask us first.9. Group classesGroup programmes may include instrumental tuition, songs, singing, solfa, rhythm, listening, musical games, ensemble playing and performance preparation. Activities are adapted to the age and progress of the group.10. Individual lessonsIndividual lessons are tailored to the student and may include technique, repertoire, musicianship, improvisation, theory, performance preparation, graded exam preparation or personal musical goals.11. Minimum numbersGroups need a minimum number of paid enrolments to run. If a group cannot run, Soundberry will offer a suitable alternative, credit, transfer or full refund.12. Arrival, collection & behaviourPlease arrive and collect on time and follow the school’s arrangements. Lessons cannot normally be extended because of late arrival. Students are expected to treat teachers, other students, instruments and the school environment respectfully.13. Relevant informationPlease tell us anything relevant that would help us support your child safely and appropriately in class, including additional support, accessibility or medical information where necessary.14. Photos & videoSoundberry will not use photos or videos of children for promotion without appropriate parent/guardian permission.15. Small changes sometimes happenOccasionally a room, teacher, timetable or class arrangement may need to change. We will give families as much notice as reasonably possible.16. AgreementBy enrolling and making payment, the parent/guardian confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
